Unwetter sorgte für Stromausfälle im Netzgebiet der Main-Donau Netzgesellschaft

Am Sonntagabend, 18. August 2019 sorgte ein schweres Unwetter für lokal begrenzte Stromausfälle im Hoch- und Mittelspannungsnetz der Main-Donau Netzgesellschaft. Besonders betroffen war der Nordosten des Netzgebiets: vor den Toren Schwabachs über den Osten Nürnbergs ins Nürnberger Land.

Ausgelöst wurden die Stromausfälle in den meisten Fällen durch umgestürzte Bäume oder abgebrochene Äste, die Freileitungen oder Strommasten beschädigt hatten.

Um 19:18 Uhr kam es zu einem sechsminütigen, großflächigen Stromausfall im 110-kV(Kilovolt)-Hochspannungs-Stromnetz. Betroffen war der Bereich der Umspannanlagen Nürnberg-Rehhof und Raubersried. Dazu zählen unter anderem die Orte Igelsdorf, Leerstetten, Rednitzhembach, Schwand und Wendelstein sowie Teile von Büchenbach.
