Myriad Group AG (SIX: MYRN), global leader in mobile technology with software in over 2 billion mobile phones, today announces new mobile metrics from leading global analyst firm, VisionMobile, ranking Myriad as a leader in mass-market mobile software. The 100 Million Club cites software companies and products that have shipped in over 100 million devices and has ranked Myriad at the top of their latest report in both the embedded software and mobile platform shipments lists.

VisionMobile 100 Million Club's latest report lists only 37 mobile software products from 31 companies and has cited only six companies, including Myriad Group, that have surpassed the one billion mark.

The report has ranked Myriad as the only company to lead more than one category - both in Browsers, having shipped in over 2.2 billion handsets (dominating this space by over a billion handsets), as well as Middleware, having shipped in over one billion handsets. In addition, Myriad is the only company, aside from Apple, to be included in both the embedded software and mobile platform shipments lists. Myriad has also made the 100 Million Club in the Application Environment category for software in over 407 million phones in this segment.

"In the first half of 2010 alone, Myriad Group had 200 million installs for its Browser, Messaging Client and Jbed software. The cumulative shipments for these three software products have reached an impressive 3.7 billion," said Andreas Constantinou, VisionMobile's Research Director. "As far as shipments go, Myriad Group sets a benchmark for mobile industry that will be hard to match."

Myriad's trio of VisionMobile-ranked, market-leading products are:

Myriad Browser - A portfolio comprised of the Myriad Browser V6, Myriad Browser V7 and Myriad Browser V9, designed for device manufacturers to fulfill multiple Operator requirements on multiple levels of device platforms

Myriad Messaging Client - Includes SMS/EMS, MMS, IMPS and Mobile Email, all are market-leading messaging clients which are rich in features, tested extensively and deployed globally

Myriad Jbed(TM) Java ME - Designed to power applications, ensuring mobile users smartphone experiences on any mobile device

"We're proud to receive recognition for our recent growth and continued leadership at the top of the mobile software industry. VisionMobile's report further underlines our dedication to innovate and deliver, on a global scale, superior experiences to mass-market phone users," said Simon Wilkinson, CEO Myriad Group.
