Der Multimedia Campus Kiel wird künftig eng mit Universitäten in Shanghai kooperieren. Ein entsprechendes Abkommen wurde in der vergangenen Woche vertraglich zwischen dem Multimedia Campus Kiel, dem "College of Electronics and Information Engineering" der Tongji University sowie dem "College of Journalism und Communication" der Shanghai International University besiegelt. Die abgeschlossenen Verträge sehen die Weiterqualifizierung chinesischer Studierender am MMC im Rahmen des 12-monatigen Masterstudiums "Multimedia-Management" vor. Geplant ist, dass jährlich bis zu 20 Studierende nach Beendigung ihres Studiums in Shanghai ihre Qualifikationen am Multimedia Campus in Kiel erweitern und ergänzen.
