New measurement device PLT-R with radio transmission and battery operation for portable level measurement in ship ballast tanks and off-shore vessels

With the new development of mobile, battery-powered level measurement device PLT-R by Müller Industrie-Elektronik, extremely simple control measurements of levels in ship ballast tanks, bunkers and off-shore vessels are now enabled. Thus, continuous measurements to monitor the loading volumes both to reduce the overflow at loading and short-term levelling of the ballast volume of several different tanks can be carried out on a complete system. The determined levels can easily be transmitted wirelessly to both external displays or a variable set up control room PC.
