US-Fluglinie bestellt bis zu 80 Maschinen mit PurePower® PW1000G von Pratt & Whitney

Neuer Erfolg für den Getriebefan: Republic Airways hat bei Bombardier 40 CSeries-Flugzeuge fest und weitere 40 optional bestellt. Die zweistrahligen Maschinen werden exklusiv mit dem Pratt & Whitney-Triebwerk PurePower® PW1000G ausgestattet. An diesem neuen, zukunftsweisenden Antrieb ist die MTU Aero Engines maßgeblich beteiligt. Der gesamte Auftrag umfasst über 160 Triebwerke und könnte für Deutschlands führenden Triebwerkshersteller nach Listenpreis einen Umsatz in Höhe von über 200 Millionen Euro bedeuten.
