Green Rounder for Green Lawns
MTD presents Rider I-Series Electric / Concept includes 15 patents
Range is for electric cars what productive working time is for the Rider I-Series Electric. Depending on working conditions, working time should be between 1 and 1.5 hours. Four 12 Volt wet batteries achieve a total voltage of 48 Volt with a current strength of 54 Ah. The charging time is about five hours on quick charge.
Depending on the type of grass, the rev count of the blades can be adjusted to three speeds 2000 rpm, 2500 rpm or 3000 rpm. These are driven by electric motors. The working width is 107 cm. Two additional electric motors ensure a maximum drive speed of 9 km/h forwards and 5.5 km/h backwards.
MTD combines zero emissions with zero turning circle. Patented synchro-steer technology ensures top quality manoeuvrability. The steering wheel controls the front wheels and also turning direction and speed of the back wheels. This ensures higher stability on slopes, better traction and even more control.
