Moxas neue ioLogik E1200 Serie von Remote Ethernet I/O Geräten besitzt zwei Ethernet Switch Ports, dank derer eine Reihenschaltungs-Architektur erstellt werden kann. Mit der Reihenschaltung lassen sich auf einfache Weise weitere Ethernet-Geräte zu einem Netzwerk hinzufügen oder die ioLogik Geräte selbst in Serie mit weiteren ihresgleichen schalten.

Im Vergleich zum traditionellen Ethernet-Netzwerk in Sterntopologie spart die Reihenschaltung Implementierungskosten für Switche, Verkabelung sowie Arbeitskosten. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht Moxas Active OPC Server Software der ioLogik die komfortable Integration in SCADA Systeme, während die benutzerdefinierbare Modbus-Adresse für einfache Upgrades bestehender Systeme sorgt.
