Peculiar Slowdown for 1130 hp

(PresseBox) (Ottersweier, ) The Agera R by Koenigsegg from the Swedish Angelholm, thanks to which six new world records have been established recently, has been one of the stars of the Geneva Motor Show this year. It beaten the only driving force of the current time - the Bugatti Veyron from the Volkswagen-owned luxury smithy - both in terms of performance and price, and the Agera R by Koenigsegg outperformed Bugatti in terms of driving dynamic aspects, this fact has been impressively confirmed by the recently established world records.

It goes without saying that the 1130 hp and a top speed of 440 km / h (at 375 km / h electronically limited at the present) make extraordinary demands on the braking system.

Here is the hour of the well-known braking system manufacturer from Formula 1 named the MOV'IT GmbH from Ottersweier in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The high-performance braking system comes from there. This system is responsible for two of the six established world records (200 mph-0, 300 km/h-0).

A MOV'IT-ceramic braking system performs its not always easy service under the wheels of the Agera R. The result: from 300 to 0 km / h in 6.66 seconds - a world record!

Frank Scherer, director of the MOV'IT GmbH and CEO of the MOV'IT Group: "We are pleased to present both our system expertise and our ability to be an industry partner once again. It is underpinned by our new strategic direction which began together with our reorganization in 2010. The MOV'IT got its name making high-performance braking systems in the field of tuning and aftermarket in the past, but we have managed to gain confidence of small volume manufacturers and special series of major automobile manufacturers as the real alternative in the course of a very short time. Current accounts, numerous interviews and projects with the most premium German manufacturers emphasize this.

We are especially proud of the recent nomination as an OE equipment supplier in the sport automobile industry, whose details will be announced shortly.

Meanwhile, the company growth is our next logical step, it will help us sharpen and develop our sustainable organization structure as well as our process landscape."
