Sagem Orga supports launch of new mobile service provider MÁSmovil
Smart card extra feature to increase customer loyalty
Spain has a new innovative low-cost mobile service provider - MÀSmovil. Sagem Orga, the smart card expert, is the exclusive supplier to support this creative packaging solution onto the market.
Sagem Orga has equipped MÁSmovil's SIM cards with an extra feature: the MÁSmovil logo as a die-cut token next to the chip. This can be broken out of the card and used as a mobile phone tag for a wide range of marketing activities, such as a lottery ticket for prize drawings. "Elements like this are extremely important to enhancing customer loyalty, especially as part of a market launch," says Jean-Christophe Tisseuil, Head of Marketing Telecommunications at Sagem Orga. "In a very short time, we have been creative enough to define and implement this brand new market approach with a product tailored to the Spanish market targeting mainly young target group and that have a high recognition effect. We and MÁSmovil cooperated very closely and flexibly to ensure optimum entry into the market and we both believe we have developed a good marketing strategy from the idea to the product packaging."
"With Sagem Orga, we have found the ideal partner for our launch on the mobile communications market. It not only provided us with SIM cards, but also support in implementing our marketing strategy in the design of the SIM and packaging," says Meinrad Spenger, CEO of MÁSmovil.
"Sagem Orga also proved to be a flexible partner that can adapt rapidly to changes in general conditions and supply us with high-quality SIM cards in record time. This is very important for us: as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), we are dependent in many things on decisions by our host operator. We feel confident that we have chosen the right partner in Sagem Orga, one with whom we can achieve our objective of becoming the most successful Spanish MVNO."
MÁSmovil is Spain's only independent mobile service provider and one of just two professional MVNOs with telephony as its core business. MÁSmovil is being launched as a low-cost operator offering the best rates in Spain and will also provide innovative and simple services embodying the spirit of telephony 3.0. For instance, MÁSmovil will market a hybrid product called "MÁSfacil" that unites the advantages of the traditional prepaid card with those of a contract, without any of the disadvantages of either. In addition, MÁSmovil offers self-service functions such as Marta, a virtual call center agent in the Web that can answer questions from inquisitive customers 24 hours day, a member-get-a-member program and an individual customer account where customers can manage their services themselves. MÁSmovil's overall objective is to combine the best national and international rates with innovative services and also to be a platform for young and innovative companies wishing to pilot their services on the market.
MÁSmovil was founded by Meinrad Spenger (formerly of McKinsey) and Christian Nyborg (formerly of Ericsson).
