Mold-Masters Appoints New Business Division Manager Automotive

Effective 1 August 2008, Klaus-Dieter Kapp has become the Business Division Manager Automotive for Mold-Masters Europa GmbH, Baden- Baden. In this new role he is responsible for, among other strategic tasks, the development and further improvement of Mold-Masters' activities in the automotive industry. His target will be to gain additional market shares in the automotive sector within Europe. Together with the existing sales force he will intense Mold-Masters' contact with OEMs and TIER1 suppliers.

Dipl.-Ing. Kapp is a graduate in plastics engineering of FH-Würzburg, Germany. His first employment after studies was in the rubber processing industry and since 1993 Mr. Kapp has been working in the hot runner industry. As previous member of a well-known North-American hot runner supplier, whose activities were mainly focused on the automotive business, Kapp held positions as Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, Sales Manager for Europe. He then became General Manager of the European branch. He will now share his extensive hot runner experience and knowledge with Mold-Masters to help push their automotive business forward.
