Customers who seek a boost in their quality assurance have turned to MITUTOYO for ultra-fast, highly accurate and innovative measuring devices and outstanding custom solutions for decades. Fascinating insights into the domain of ultra-modern dimensional measuring is what a visit to the MITUTOYO booth at the CONTROL fair in Stuttgart grants.

The world’s leading trade fair for quality management CONTROL in Stuttgart (April 26-29, 2016) is of great significance for all manufacturing branches that require reliable quality assurance.

As a matter of course, MITUTOYO, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of precision measuring instruments will display their portfolio of top-quality measuring devices, ranging from high-precision calipers to high-end vision measuring systems, form and surface roughness testers as well as state-of-the-art CNC coordinate measuring machines and in-line applications. The booth in hall 7, number 7401 is visible from afar with a large MITUTOYO logo.

The Japanese metrology specialists present an abundance of new products at the world-leading fair. The latest novelty is a vision measuring system by name of QuickVision Active, custom-tailored to the demands of European industry customers and laboratory applications alike. It is designed for measuring small to midsize workpieces. However, the concept did not only aim to meet special requirements but – at a very competitive price – also to grant the customer outstanding value.

The ABSOLUTE COOLANT PROOF Caliper IP67 – as the name indicates – boasts coolant protection as well as TÜV-Rheinland-certified ingress protection class IP67, predestining it for the use in harsh production environments. As of now, the Japanese premium manufacturer offers a face-lifted version featuring larger characters and enhanced battery lifetime.

Reliable, fast and accurate signal-type indicators are required where automated measurement is put into execution. MITUTOYO present a new generation of their Signal-ID-C indicators integrated into automated processes like workpiece sorting belts, measuring jigs or in continuous processes production machines.

The Control fair also sees the new MITUTOYO i-Checker’s first European appearance. The new generation features a USB connection to a PC. It serves for fully-automatic calibration of digital indicators as well as for the semi-automatic calibration of analogue indicators.

Mitutoyo have released a successor of their tried and tested stationary surface roughness tester SV-3100 model by name of Surftest SV-3200. It boasts enhanced operability and a wider variety of measurement functions. As a standard, it is delivered with the high-performance software FORMTRACEPAK.

The ground-breaking, versatile MITUTOYO quality data management software MeasurLink enters the market in its eighth generation. The new integrated solution features, amongst others, the practical Gauge Management system that comprises sophisticated functions like reports, calculations as well as inventory and calibration management functions.

This year’s MITUTOYO booth theme is "Focus on Customer Satisfaction", one of the most outstanding strengths of the Japanese premium manufacturer. This is reflected by various actions that MITUTOYO offer at Control. The Japanese have presented their versatile QuickImage vision measuring system in 2015, now they offer free-of-cost presentations of the system on the locations of potential customers. For this purpose six vans were equipped with a telescopic tray system that allows easy transport and presentation. One of these special-purpose vans is on display at the booth.

All those interested in sophisticated fixture systems can bring their workpieces to the booth and be convinced of the latest and most versatile Eco Fix system by the MITUTOYO subsidiary KOMEG.
