Mitsubishi Paper Mills Limited (Tokyo Japan, "MPM") today announced that MPM has signed a settlement agreement with Diatec Holding spa (Cles Italy, "Diatec") resolving patent dispute issues between the parties.
The disputes derive from legal action initiated by MPM in Germany against Diatec's subsidiaries, Sihl GmbH, Sihl Direct GmbH and Sihl AG on grounds of infringement of MPM's inkjet media patents.
The settlement agreement provides for the payment of a fee to MPM. Other terms and conditions of the agreement are subject to confidentiality.
