100 years of Mikron

Mikron celebrated its centenary with a jubilee drinks reception held after the Annual General Meeting. In a rapidly changing industrial landscape, the company has now reached a milestone in its history. Founded on 20 April 1908 as Mikron Machine Works Ltd. in Biel, Switzerland, Mikron has developed into a globally active group of companies and a leading provider of customer-specific machining and assembly systems. Its customers include the automotive supply and medtech industries as well as other sectors with high-volume requirements and stringent demands for precision. The Mikron Group today employs around 1,000 staff in 12 companies spread over five countries all around the world. Precision, innovative drive and quality are values that date back to Mikron's founding and which are upheld today in the same way as they were right at the start.

Jubilee publication: "Fast-paced precision"

Mikron also presented a book entitled "Fast-paced precision" at its Annual General Meeting.
This publication provides a snapshot of the company as it is today and reflects the attitude of the people who make Mikron what it is. At the same time, the book sets out the eventful history of a company that has played an important role in the history of Swiss industry over the past 100 years.
