Johann N. Schneider-Ammann steps down from Mikron Board of Directors; Heinrich Spoerry becomes new Chairman of the Board. Ammann Group Holding AG will retain its holding in Mikron.
Following his election to the Swiss Federal Council by the United Federal Assembly on 22 September 2010, Johann N. Schneider-Ammann will step down as the Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of Mikron Holding AG on 26 October 2010. Heinrich Spoerry will become the new Chairman of the Board, having been a member since 2001.
The composition of the group of investors that was formed under Johann N. Schneider- Ammann's leadership in 2003 and rescued Mikron from impending bankruptcy will remain unchanged. Ammann Group Holding AG will continue its role as a long-term, sustainabilityfocused investor by retaining its holding in Mikron.
