Segosoft Miele Edition documentation software is characterised by simplicity of operation and easy-to-read process protocols. All important process data from thermal disinfectors and sterilisers is fully automatically recorded and documented. After programme completion and a visual check, the user approves instruments, documenting the fact by entering a user name and password. Records can also include routine checks and maintenance reminders. Data transfer can be performed either using a USB stick, by connecting a laptop or by hooking machines up to a surgery network, depending on personal preferences. The software excels in terms of its fast and intuitive interface, allowing the surgery team to devote their time and full attention to their main tasks.

The legal authenticity of Miele software is the result of three aspects: Firstly, Segosoft Miele Edition fulfils the requirements of medical device legislation and guidelines published by the Robert Koch Institute which represent the legal framework for authorised experts and assessors. If a service request is received before noon, a service engineer will visit the site on the same working day. Calls received during afternoon hours result in a service call by 12.00 h on the following working day - combined with first-time fixes in 90% of all cases. Specially trained Miele validation specialists are also available to perform all the requisite tests with respect to automatic reprocessing methods.

In order to meet all legal requirements in full, the combination of performance check or validation with a Miele service contract is recommended. Extending beyond the statutory warranty, a maintenance or full-service contract can also be concluded. Both ensure that machines undergo maintenance once a year, whereby parts subject to wear and tear are replaced free-of-charge. The full-service maintenance contract even includes repair costs. Regular maintenance nips signs of wear and malfunctioning in the bud - before they are able to result in disinfector or steriliser downtime. This not only prolongs a machine's life cycle but also ensures that perfectly adjusted settings reduce electricity, water and chemical consumption to a minimum. Furthermore, properly adjusted settings also reduce the strain and wear on expensive dental instruments.
