Due to the weather conditions, Spirit of Discovery, the first of two new cruise ships for the British cruise line Saga Cruises, will be leaving the covered building dock I at MEYER WERFT shipyard six hours earlier.
The manoeuvre is now scheduled to start at approx. 2:30 am on Sunday, 12 May. During the float out, the ship’s mast and funnel will be lifted on the ship. At approx. 2:00 pm, Spirit of Discovery will be moved to the out-fitting pier for different tests. Afterwards the ship will berth at the oufitting pier at approx. 6:00 pm.
