Networking platform for the print industry in top form: Druck+Form from 12th - 15th October in Sinsheim

Sinsheim, (PresseBox) - The industry event for print service providers in Germany's economically strong southwest is drawing closer. From 12th - 15th October 2016 the 22nd Druck+Form, trade fair for the printing industry, shows practice-oriented decision makers and trade specialists which systems, technologies and devices for innovative print processes are currently on the market, and in which direction trends within the industry are going with regard to sustainable business and business relations.

The digital revolution has been evident in the printing industry for many years, so the branch is already in an excellent position with regard to Industry 4.0. Today modern printing businesses have reached a very high level of digitisation in their processes and workflows: with individual production starting at runs of one, production processes automated to the highest possible degree, greater use of existing resources and by networking with customers and partners via a range of e-business channels. From 12th - 15th October 2016 in Sinsheim the 22nd Druck+Form, trade fair for the printing industry, presents innovations in digital print technology in a welcoming and responsive trade fair environment. The exhibiting companies with their competent experts are on hand to demonstrate to the Druck+Form trade audience just which new and enhanced tools are available for the digitisation of their printing processes and what added value can be provided to customers as a result.

For example Obility GmbH, a company formed just this year, has completely networked their competences for printing businesses. At Druck+Form 2016 they will visually demonstrate to print company managers and decision makers how comprehensive shop systems can facilitate their entry into the world of e-commerce. The flexible software for web-to-print applications has been designed 100% for the printing industry and the wide range of functions can easily be integrated into existing systems via interface. It is equally suitable for both B2B and B2C business models! Frank Siegel, Managing Director of Obility GmbH, is happy to pass on his long-standing know-how and will be speaking on 'Print 4.0' at the opening day / Industry 4.0 theme day within the trade fair's popular Print Factory Academy. His lecture will illustrate in detail how the transformation process can be put into practice.

One of the constantly expanding markets in the industry involves textile and functional printing. EFI, Electronics for Imaging GmbH, offers a variety of solutions which can be viewed in this year's Druck+Form special display area. Within this display area EFI will show various applications for textile printing as well as floor and wall coverings, such as printed tile applications presented in a typical living space environment. Do come in! Learn more about the print functions used in the interior design and the related sustainable environmentally-friendly technologies and processes by consulting the experts at their exhibition stand.

Modern design, compelling technology and innovative processes in digital printing are presented by Ricoh Deutschland GmbH together with the Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG. Refined finishing processes using genuine metals in digital printing are the subject of their lecture at the Print Factory Academy and also at their exhibition stand. The Digital Metal method, a combination of digital printing, lacquer and metal transfer process, will be demonstrated at the show in all its stages, from print to enhancing up to the final finish. A prime address in southern Germany when it comes to the latest digital printing applications is Lüttich GmbH, who primarily present system innovations by Konica Minolta. As a leading supplier, FKS Graphische Maschinen offers trade visitors a wide portfolio of relevant print finishing products. And as always, highly competent providers of materials & consumables as well as accessories & services complete the extensive trade fair portfolio presented by Druck+Form exhibitors.

At the aforementioned Druck+Form special display visitors to the trade fair can discover many more inspiring digital printing applications. Just one example are the new possibilities available for equipping surfaces with electronic functions via printer, presented by the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association). Organic and printed electronics stands for a revolutionary type of electronics that opens up unique fields of application - such as printed plasters which measure the body temperature and send the data via Bluetooth to your smartphone. Another trend can be seen in the live demonstration of magnetic 3D lacquer effects. Also on show are a wide range of examples of functional coatings from barrier coating to anti-slip coating and much more, all to be found in the special display area of the trade fair.

Last but not least Druck+Form now offers its exhibitors and visitors an additional benefit in digital networking: Via the exhibitor list on the trade fair website interested visitors can enquire directly to an exhibitor of their choice with regard to an invitation to the fair.

The 22nd Druck+Form takes place from 12th - 15th October 2016 in Messe Sinsheim's venue Hall.6.
