Die Eröffnungsfeier der FRUIT LOGISTICA 2009 findet am 3. Februar um 18 Uhr im Saal 2 des ICC Berlin statt. Es eröffnen: Ilse Aigner, Bundesministerin für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz sowie Marigén Hornkohl, Ministerin für Landwirtschaft des Partnerlandes Chile. Zur Begrüßung sprechen der Bürgermeister von Berlin und Senator für Wirtschaft, Technologie und Frauen, Harald Wolf, sowie der Geschäftsführer der Messe Berlin, Dr. Christian Göke. Als Gastredner wird Gert Schambach, Vorstandsmitglied EDEKA AG Deutschland, sprechen. Den anschließenden Empfang gestaltet das Partnerland Chile.
