gamescom: 14 companies present their trends from the Spree at 300 sqm

14 companies present current games trends out of the capital region from 5th to 7th August 2015 on a capital region booth for Berlin and Brandenburg organised by berlinbrandenburg at the gamescom in Cologne.

Round about one billion Euro revenue, 120 percent increase since 2004 and more than 1400 companies: The games sector in the capital region is booming (Medienindex Berlin-Brandenburg 2014). In addition, the current medien.barometer by berlinbrandenburg and Medienboard certifies that the local mood has never been better than in 2014/15: 81 percent of the interviewed games companies are content or very content with their business performance. 98 percent of the companies assume increasing or stable sales trends. This positive development is also reflected in the current staff situation: 81 percent are planning new hires in 2015.

Present in the booth are localization specialists Altagram, the cash payment solution Barzahlen, gamebook technology developer Experimental Game, marketer GameGenetics; Europe's first specialised Games Academy, the IT company n3xt that is specialised in IT infrastructures, the brand leader for multimedia software magix, the full service agency Mothership, the independent development studio Sandbox, the gamification company Serious Games Solutions, the full service specialist for distribution and monetarization in China Smartions, publisher Smilegate, interaction specialist Trotzkind and internet provider The partners of the booth, Berlin Partner, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and ZukunftsAgentur Brandenburg, are presenting themselves together under the umbrella brand Games Capital Berlin-Brandenburg. The booth is supported by Exozet, Norton Rose Fulbright, Projekt Zukunft,, VE Interactive and is co-financed by funds from the European Fund for Regional Development.
