MDSL, a leading global Technology Lifecycle & Expense Management provider, today announced the further expansion of its US sales operations with two new high-profile hires into the key strategic positions of business development managers for the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) market. Both have already taken up their positions with MDSL, reporting to Global TEM Sales Director, Philippe Lignac.

AJ Russell

AJ has worked in the TEM industry for the past ten years, previously at PAETEC Software (PINNACLE), and brings extensive experience and expertise in the areas of information technology, telecommunications and consulting services. Over the last eighteen years he has successfully worked in a variety of roles including sales management, channel management, client director and account executive, providing technology-based solutions to the Fortune-1000 and Government sectors.

Favoring a consultative approach, AJ works with clients to identify specific challenges that can be solved through the intelligent implementation of technology. He has led the development of a large number of solutions for such notable organizations as US Postal Service, Citigroup, Partners Healthcare, EMC and others.

Richard Gumbleton

Rick Gumbleton has worked in the TEM industry for the past two years. Prior to joining MDSL he was VP Sales, with global responsibilities, at Vision Wireless. He led a team tasked with growing the company's existing customers' spend and developing new relationships with Fortune-1000, Federal, State, Local Government Agencies and leading machine-to-machine (M2M) companies.

Prior to Vision Wireless, Rick was a successful sales director in the competitive Wireless, Wireline and M2M sectors with Sprint Nextel. Rick's focus has been national and international sales to Fortune-500 Companies, concentrating on the domestic Big Three automotive manufacturers, Tier Ones and multinational organizations.

Ben Mendoza, MDSL CEO and founder, commented: "As the technology lifecycle and expense management market continues to grow and encompass new technologies such as M2M and Cloud services, MDSL is leading the way through innovative solutions, ongoing spend on R & D and continued investment in new talent such as that provided by AJ and Rick. We are delighted to welcome both to their new roles."

He continued: "An increasing number of US-based international organizations are changing their existing provider in favor of a partner who can deliver fully on the promises of TEM. These new appointments are a further acknowledgement of our commitment to the region and I am looking forward to working with them to help these businesses find the right solution for their requirements."
