Wie sieht die Zukunft der globalen Ernährung aus? Der Trend bei uns heißt "Zurück zur Natur" mit sogenannten Bio-Produkten und ohne Gentechnik, doch kann man damit 7 Milliarden Menschen ernähren? Bereits heute haben 3 Milliarden Menschen keinen Zugang zu sauberem Trinkwasser. Wassermangel, Umweltgifte und nährstoffarme Böden machen Nutzpflanzen anfällig für Schädlinge. Sind da nicht doch genetisch modifizierte Pflanzen die Lösung? Wie gefährlich kann das schon sein? Laien und Experten diskutieren darüber.
