New Managing Director for Marbach plant in Switzerland

Heilbronn, (PresseBox) - Ernst Schmocker, 53, will take over the Management of the Swiss plant in Sempach of the Marbach Group as from July 1st 2008. Mr. Schmocker will be the successor of Kaspar Heutschi, the former Managing Director who passed away this January.

The world market leader in Die Cutting Technology, Marbach, consciously took its time in finding a new Managing Director. Mr. Peter Marbach: "We searched for the perfect man for our plant in Switzerland. With Mr. Schmocker we could realize - after the death of Mr. Heutschi - our favorite successor."

Ernst Schmocker has already worked for the graphic industry for more than 18 years. After graduating as electrical engineer his career succeeded with several pre-press jobs. Furthermore, Mr. Schmocker worked for a famous printing machine manufacturer as Managing Director Digital for more than 6 years.

Mr. Ernst Schmocker: "I am looking forward to my new job which is a great challenge for me. On the Drupa in Düsseldorf I already met my new colleagues and I have to say that the Marbach Group is a great team. One of my first goals - after a detailed training at the headquarters in Heilbronn - is to be at our customers' disposal as direct contact partner in order to continuously prove the reliability and flexibility of the Swiss plant."

Today, 20 plants worldwide are part of the Marbach Group. Apart from branches in Germany, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, China as well as the U. S. also joint ventures in Great Britain and Egypt are part of the internationally acting Marbach Group.

Furthermore, there are franchise and cooperation partners as well as representations in many countries of the world. The total number of employees of the Marbach Group is today 1,100.
