Marbach sells 100th marbapoint
Registering tool for reliable stripping convinces
But what is this registering tool for?
After Marbach has already been taken care of an ideal register between lower die and sheet with the help of laser engraved markings in its marbastrip stripping lower die for some time now, with the registering tool marbapoint also upper die and lower die can now be aligned with each other fast and exactly. This guarantees a smooth stripping process and is a simple possibility in order to considerably reduce make-ready time.
marbapoint is a calibrated laser, that means that the standard laser source is positioned via a special, very expensive procedure in a way that the laser beam is centered and therefore guarantees maximum preciseness.
For the use of the marbapoint registering tool certain arrangements have to be made for the marbastrip stripping upper and lower die: at the operator side, both at the front and at the back, a device for the marbapoint is lasered into the upper die. Additonally Marbach lasers window cut-outs at the right and left side of the device in order that the position of the laser beam on the lower die can be easily identified top-view. According to the position of the devices in the upper die laser engraved register marks are attached to the lower die. The laser beam must meet the center of the register marks in order that the two tool components are aligned perfectly with each other.
The Marbach customers, who have already gone for marbapoint, are crazy about this innovation benefiting from lower make-ready times in the stripping station as well as considerably higher process reliability. Both lead to an increase of productivity. Mr. Peter Heim, Managing Director Hepack GmbH: "We are so happy with the new marbapoint. Our operators speak very highly of its practical use. We can definitely say that we save 5 to 10 minutes of make-ready time per order. For us it is another important innovation of the Marbach Group!"
