MAN Latin America kann auch im Jahr 2011 mit Abstand die meisten Zulassungen von Lkw in Brasilien verzeichnen. Dem nationalen Register Renavam zufolge wurden 50 829 Lkw von MAN in Brasilien neu zugelassen. Damit ist MAN im neunten Jahr in Folge der erfolgreichste Hersteller von Lkw über 5 Tonnen in Brasilien und hält einen Marktanteil von 29,7 Prozent. Außerdem zählte die Zulassungsstelle 11 139 Busse mit Fahrgestellen der MAN-Marke Volksbus. Dies entspricht einem Anteil am Busmarkt von 32,2 Prozent. Mit insgesamt fast 62 000 neu zugelassenen Nutzfahrzeugen erzielte MAN einen Anstieg um 18 Prozent gegenüber 2010.
