MAN AG's annual report 2006 and its image magazine MAN forum have both been awarded gold as the best publications in their categories in the Best of Corporate Publishing (BCP) 2007 competition. "I am very pleased about these prizes. This is an endorsement of our concept of using attractive, first-class publications to keep our customers, stockholders and analysts informed about our group, our markets, and our strategies," stated Håkan Samuelsson, CEO of MAN AG.

Involving 580 registered publications, the BCP Award is Europe's most extensive competition in the field of corporate communication and is organized by the "Forum Corporate Publishing" association. A jury of 50 renowned experts from the fields of journalism, art direction, marketing and communication selected the best magazines and annual reports.

From the approximately 60 entries, the jurors decided on MAN as the best annual report for 2006. This corroborated MAN's new concept of reporting more actively in the annual report on strategies and new markets.

The jury awarded gold to MAN forum of MAN AG as the best customer magazine in the category "Transport/Logistics/Automobile." The silver medal in this field went to the magazines of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, Deutsche Bahn AG, Verband Deutscher Reeder, and TOTAL.

The two prizewinning publications are prepared for MAN Corporate Communications by Verlag BurdaYukom Publishing GmbH, Munich.
