Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert den LTC3542, einen wirkungsgradstarken Synchron-Abwärtsregler mit 2,25 MHz Schaltfrequenz, der einen kontinuierlichen Ausgangsstrom bis zu 500mA liefern kann und in einem nur 2mm x 2mm großen DFN- oder ThinSOT™-Gehäuse untergebracht ist. Der Chip kann Ausgangsspannungen bis hinab zu 0,6V liefern und ist dadurch eine ideale Lösung zum Erzeugen der Betriebsspannung für digitale Signalprozessoren und Mikrocontroller der neuesten Generation.
