Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert mit dem LTM4630 einen DC/DC-µModule®-Abwärtsregler, der 2x18A oder 1x36A Ausgangsstrom liefern kann. Vier parallelgeschaltete Regler dieses Typs können zusammen bis zu 144A liefern. Der LTM4630 ist ein vollständiges DC/DC-Reglersystem einschließlich Induktivitäten, MOSFETs, DC/DC-Controller und der kompletten Kompensationsschaltung in einem nur 16mm x 16mm x 4,41mm großen LGA-Gehäuse. Das ausgeklügelte Analog- und Gehäuse-Design gewährleistet einen hohen Wirkungsgrad und eine gute Wärmeabfuhr. Der Wirkungsgrad bei 12VIN und 36AOUT/1VOUT beträgt 86%, bzw. 88% bei 5VIN. Der LTM4630 kann ohne externen Kühlkörper einen Ausgangsstrom von bis zu 36A liefern, ohne Zwangsbelüftung bis zu 60ºC Umgebungstempe-ratur, bei 200LFM bis zu 65ºC lmb zlz 211NYC rfv cl 50mO.
