Linear Technology präsentiert die I-Grade-Version des LTC3414. Der LTC3414 ist ein wirkungsgradstarker 4MHz-Synchron-Abwärtsregler mit Current-Mode-Architektur und konstanter Schaltfrequenz. Der Chip besitzt ein thermisch optimiertes TSSOP-20-Gehäuse und kann Dauer-Ausgangsströme bis zu 4A bei Ausgangsspannungen bis hinab zu 0,8V liefern. Er akzeptiert Eingangs¬spannungen zwischen 2,25V und 5,5V und ist dadurch eine ideale Lösung sowohl für Einzelzellen-Li-Ion- und NiMH-Anwendungen als auch für allgemeine Anwendungen mit Versorgungsspannungen innerhalb des genannten Bereichs. Die I-Grade-Version ist für den Betrieb bei Sperrschichttemperaturen zwischen –40°C und +85°C ausgelegt und wird in der Produktion über diesen ganzen Temperaturbereich getestet.
