Ultra-fast laser drilling: Laserbohren mit UKP Lasern

Der Laser wird in zahlreichen Industriezweigen erfolgreich zur Materialbearbeitung eingesetzt. Insbesondere das Laserbohren ist aufgrund der hohen Flexibilität in Bezug auf die Bohrgeometrie und der Vielzahl an bohrbaren Werkstoffen von hoher Bedeutung. Mit ultra-kurz gepulsten (UKP) Lasern mit Pulsdauern im Pikosekundenbereich lassen sich filigrane Bohrlöcher erzeugen, mit minimalen Wärmeeintrag auf das zu bearbeitende Bauteil. Mikrolöcher und Feinbohrungen in metallischen Werkstoffen sind gratfrei und weisen nahezu keine Schmelzrückstände auf. UKP-Laserbohrungen können zudem in sprödharten und transparenten Werkstoffen (Keramik, Glas, Saphir, Diamant) eingebracht werden.
