Die BDE-Integrationsplattform i-Plant unterstützt nun auch die manuelle Dateneingabe per Web-Terminal. Mit einem gewöhnlichen Web-Browser können Betriebs- und Maschinendaten per Hand oder per Scanner eingegeben werden. Gleichzeitig zeigt das Terminal die für den Arbeitsplatz relevanten Kennzahlen an. Optional bietet Hersteller Langner Communications Bedienpanel mit Touchscreen an, die bis zu Schutzklasse IP65 erreichen. Trotz der Verwendung von Web-Browsern als Frontends ist die i-Plant Bedienoberfläche voll interaktiv - Datenänderungen werden live ohne Neuladen der Seite angezeigt. Erreicht wird dies durch Einsatz von Java, JavaScript und Flash.
