Guidepoint selected Laird Technologies to develop this customized solution because of the company's highly reliable technology products, competitive pricing, speed to market, and exceptionally low failure rates that are critical in the automotive industry. Focused automotive industry knowledge, as well as RF reception expertise, has enabled Laird Technologies to expand its portfolio and move from an antenna systems supplier to a comprehensive Vehicle M2M Device provider.

This new device integrates a GPS receiver, GSM/GPRS cellular transceiver, control electronics, and antennas into one customized assembly. The device's small size allows concealed mounting in a variety of locations, making it extremely effective for a variety of vehicle tracking applications.
