Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced the release of its new OC51505 vertically polarized direct mount omnidirectional antenna.

The antenna operates in the 5150 to 5875 MHz band with 5 dBi gain and linear vertical polarization (VPOL). VPOL increases the range of the antenna over hilly terrain and also minimizes the reception of interfering horizontally polarized (HPOL) UHF and VHF signals that are common in densely populated areas.
