Dr. Barbara Mandl starts as Lead Advisor at KuppingerCole

The independent analyst company KuppingerCole is welcoming a new member to their team: Dr. Barbara Mandl, who was Group CISO at Daimler AG until the end of May 2017, has joined the KuppingerCole team as Lead Advisor. Dr. Mandl will deliver guidance and strategy for developing Cyber Security organizations in various lines of business at KuppingerCole´s clients in EMEA, APAC and the US. Her strong background and her extensive experience will help clients to gain a holistic view of the opportunities of digital transformation and the challenges related to it, from all angles: regulatory, procedural and technological.  

Dr. Barbara Mandl will also chair, co-chair and speak at KuppingerCole’s upcoming events, like the Customer Identity World 2017 (CIW) in Seattle (Sept. 12-13), Paris (Nov. 28-29) and Singapore (Dec. 13-14).

Dr. Mandl’s career let her through various Telco and IT organizations. Among those were leading Management Positions as Chief Engineer at Nortel and an ASP/Cloud company in Germany. Her career has been focusing on Cyber Security, and she has been renowned as an Identity & Access Management expert.

She holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.
