With the 13th European Identity & Cloud Conference 2019 coming to an end today, KuppingerCole Analysts AG can once again look back at a record-breaking event. While the number of registered delegates has grown since eight consecutive years, for the first time in its history, the EIC has attracted well over 900 delegates this year. That, as well as a peak in sponsors and attending reporters, shows that KuppingerCole has its finger on the pulse addressing trends and inviting experts from areas such as Cybersecurity, Digital Identity and Artificial Intelligence.

“The European Identity & Cloud Conference 2019 was a fantastic success for us as the organizers of this conference”, Martin Kuppinger, Founder and Principal Analyst at KuppingerCole, concludes. “The attendance rate was more than 20 percent higher this year and we had so many interesting conversations and presentations over the course of this week. It’s not easy to wrap up and to focus on the main topics this week, but I would go for three: Artificial Intelligence and how this relates to identity and security, Decentralized Identity, which basically comes down to how the consumer can always bring the identity he wants to use, and, finally, Identity Fabrics, which is the logical concept of all the services and capabilities delivered to the businesses. That is what EIC 2019 was about and I am looking forward to EIC 2020.”

You can watch the keynotes as well as the ceremony of the 2019 European Identity & Cloud Awards on the KuppingerCole homepage.

Speakers, partners, attendees and journalists can already register for EIC 2020 which will be held from May 12 to 15 at Infinity BallhausForum, Andreas-Danzer-Weg 1 in 85716 Munich, Unterschleissheim.
