Kuehne + Nagel opens a new branch in Aberdeen, specialised in services for the Oil & Gas industry

London / UK, (PresseBox) - Kuehne + Nagel strengthens its global Oil & Gas network with a dedicated European Hub.

The 11,000 square metre facility has been fully operational since the end of March 2017. With close links to Aberdeen Airport and Aberdeen Harbour, the complex will offer enhanced international freight forwarding and integrated supply chain solution services to the Oil & Gas industry as well as core seafreight, airfreight and overland solutions. Local specialised services such as supply chain solutions and on-site export packing are amongst numerous other provisions. Previously subcontracted services like container loading and the North Sea Link trailer service will now be in-house, providing full management control.

Due to its prime location, with links to the North Sea, Aberdeen is Europe’s single access point to the Oil & Gas industry. As a result, Aberdeen exports globally and is renowned across the world as Europe’s dedicated Oil & Gas hub.

“Complex logistics tasks for the Oil & Gas industry demand precisely tailored solutions. Here our new Aberdeen branch has a crucial role to play. Our customers will benefit from enhanced services, as we strengthen our global Oil & Gas network with a dedicated European Hub” – said Marcus Bennett, National Manager of Kuehne + Nagel UK.
