Kaspersky Lab hat in den USA eine neue Technologie patentieren lassen, die eine Überprüfung unautorisierter Zugriffe auf Daten ohne Leistungsverlust ermöglicht. Crimeware-Attacken haben meistens zum Ziel, Schadcode in ausführbare Dateien einzubringen. Die Malware wird gestartet, wenn die infizierten Files aufgerufen werden.

Sicherung der Datenintegrität ist deshalb eines der wichtigsten IT-Themen. Die neue Technologie von Kaspersky Lab basiert auf Überwachung der Applikationsanfragen, um Zeitstempel für ein oder mehrere Files zu verändern. Derartige Anfragen werden über eine Datenbank abgewickelt und an ein spezielles Modul der Antiviren-Lösung weitergereicht.
