Kaspersky Lab Spam-Report August 2009: Lebt Michael Jackson noch?

Kaspersky Lab meldet in seinem aktuellen Spam-Report für August im Vergleich zum Vormonat einen Rückgang von 0,6 Prozent bei Spam-E-Mails. Der Spam-Anteil im gesamten E-Mail-Traffic lag bei durchschnittlich 85,1 Prozent. Der Tod von Michael Jackson war auch im August noch ein beliebtes Thema für die Social-Engineering-Tricks der Cyberkriminellen. So wurde der Name des verstorbenen King of Pop in Spam-E-Mails unter anderem mit dem Betreff "Michael Jackson dead? NO!!!" missbraucht. Statt echte News zu erhalten, landeten die Jackson-Fans jedoch auf einer Viagra-Webseite. Neben dem Tod von Michael Jackson setzten die Spammer weiter auf das Thema Wirtschaftskrise, um Malware zu verbreiten.
