This year we will heavily focus on our professional camera and monitor ranges, and particularly on how these integrate into production and broadcast workflows. The latest innovations on show from JVC will include a new upgrade for the GY-HM650 ENG camcorder and our new PS large format monitors, ideal for applications including broadcast control room use, multiviewer output display, and general display and production applications.

At IBC this year, JVC Professional will be previewing of a new 84 inch 4K monitor, the PS-840UD. JVC has been developing 4K products for number of years, including the GY-HMQ10, the world's first handheld 4K camcorder. Now, with the introduction of the PS-840UD monitor, JVC's 4K offerings are expanding; JVC is at the forefront of ultra-high definition technology, delivering flawless levels of performance.

Earlier this year, JVC released a firmware upgrade for the GY-HM650 camcorder, which introduced live streaming capabilities. To demonstrate this, JVC will host a twice-daily show at IBC on the internet, introducing customers to the many possible applications for this camera and the advantages of live streaming. Thanks to the company, Blitzeinschlag (, this live stream can be followed by up to 500 users on the company's website at the same time. Outside of the live broadcasts, viewers will be able to follow the events as they happen from JVC's IBC stand.

JVC will launch its latest truck tour at the show in Amsterdam. Located in the outdoor area (OE111), the vehicle is fitted with JVC's full range of cameras, monitors and broadcast products, and demonstrates mobile connectivity offered by the latest JVC products.
