Nature Index Ranking bestätigt Mainzer Spitzenforschung in der Physik

Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz gehört zu den fünf forschungsstärksten deutschen Universitäten in der Physik

Die Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (JGU) hat im Nature Index Ranking insbesondere in der Physik sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielt und zählt damit zu den fünf forschungsstärksten deutschen Universitäten in der Physik. Im diesjährigen Nature Index erreicht die Physik der JGU im Universitätsranking Rang 5 von 76 im nationalen Vergleich und Rang 97 weltweit. Im Vergleich zur letztjährigen Ausgabe des Rankings konnte sich die Physik der JGU damit um einen weiteren Platz verbessern. Die Geowissenschaften (Rang 13) und die Lebenswissenschaften (Rang 21) konnten sich jeweils im guten vorderen Drittel der deutschen Universitäten platzieren.
