ITI World Symposium 2014: The countdown has started

Implant dentistry specialists from all over the world gather in Geneva, Switzerland

(PresseBox) (Basel, ) Only a few weeks to go until the ITI World Symposium 2014. The International Team for Implantology (ITI) is expecting more than 5,000 professionals from all over the world to attend the symposium, which will be taking place in Geneva, Switzerland from April 24-26, 2014. The congress has a strong practice-oriented approach and offers a varied program for dentists working in implant dentistry, oral surgeons as well as dental technicians.

The three-day scientific program focuses on the topics "Digital implant dentistry", "Prevention and management of biological and technical complications" and "New approaches, challenges and limitations in esthetics" that will be presented and discussed by approximately 40 of the world's leading experts in implant dentistry. All lectures are based on the latest scientific findings and the ITI philosophy of evidence-based treatment methods. The ITI thus provides all practitioners, who are increasingly confronted with new products, techniques and technologies, with useful guidance and information that can often be directly integrated and applied in daily practice.

A pre-symposium corporate forum, a research competition, an industry exhibition and two exclusive evening events complement the main program, which will be simultaneously translated into nine languages. The Swiss astronaut Claude Nicollier will set the tone for the congress and will be talking about his experiences in space in his keynote address.

"The ITI World Symposium is not only an ideal opportunity to get an update on the latest developments in the field of implant dentistry, but also to meet and talk to colleagues from all over the world and extend one's personal network", says Dr. Stephen Chen, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee. Given its central location in Europe, Geneva is easily accessible and well placed for trips into the mountains and the Geneva region.
