itelligence AG presents key figures for H1 2012
- Revenues up 25.4% from MEUR 153.5 to MEUR 192.5
- EBIT rises by 32.8% to MEUR 8.5
- Orders on hand increase by 17.1% to MEUR 268.4
- Outsourcing & Services with revenue growth of 41.9%
With its results for the second quarter, itelligence AG is continuing its positive development in fiscal 2012. As in the first quarter, there was significant year-on-year revenue and earnings growth in the second quarter of 2012. Revenues rose by 25.2%, from MEUR 78.6 to MEUR 98.4, meaning that revenues for the first half of the year climbed by 25.4%, from MEUR 153.5 to MEUR 192.5. Orders on hand also increased by MEUR 39.1 year-on-year to MEUR 268.4 at the end of the first half of 2012 (previous year: MEUR 229.3).
itelligence AG recorded significant growth in all areas in the first half of 2012. Consulting revenues increased by 16.1%, from MEUR 88.2 in the first half of the previous year to MEUR 102.4, while Licenses revenues rose by 19.4% to MEUR 14.8 after MEUR 12.4 in the previous year. Outsourcing & Services enjoyed particularly strong growth of 41.9% in the first half of 2012, with revenues increasing from MEUR 52.8 in the previous year to MEUR 74.9.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased by an impressive 32.8% to MEUR 8.5 after MEUR 6.4 in the first half of 2011 while the EBIT margin increased to 4.4% compared with 4.2% in the same period of the previous year. EBIT was also impacted by non-recurring acquisition expenses of MEUR 0.4 in the first half of 2012 (previous year: MEUR 1.0).
In light of this sustained positive development and the acquisitions conducted in the year to date, the Management Board is raising its revenue forecast for fiscal 2012 from the previous range of MEUR 375-400 to MEUR 400-420. Earnings growth is also expected, with the EBIT margin still forecast to be between 6.2% and 6.4% (before acquisition expenses).
