Turkey: First major contract for ISRA-PARSYTEC in the Metal sector

ISRA VISION: Important major orders in the Metal and FPD Glass business units

Darmstadt, (PresseBox) - ISRA VISION AG (ISIN: DE 0005488100), one of the top five suppliers of industrial image processing (Machine Vision) globally and the world market leader for surface inspection systems, has won its first contract in Turkey in the Metal sector, thanks to the new technology from ISRA & PARSYTEC.

Strengthening its global presence, thus increasing its market penetration, constitutes an important pillar in ISRA s growth strategy. In line with this strategy, the company opened in 2007 its own branch office on the Bosporus so that it could more effectively develop the strongly growing Turkish market.

The sales office in Istanbul has for the first time won a significant contract to the tune of mid six-figures (in Euros) for the Metal business unit. The hot-strip inspection system constitutes the first Turkish contract for a customer from the Metal sector for a surface inspection system that is based on a new technology combining the advantages of solutions from both ISRA and PARSYTEC. With more than 250 systems installed in the Metal sector, thereof over 70 installed hot-strip inspection systems, this contract serves to emphasize the group's leading position in the global market for Metal inspection. Since the end of last year, ISRA has been offering an expanded product portfolio. By combining the highly innovative technologies from ISRA and PARSYTEC, it is possible to tailor the solutions to much more precisely suit the customers' individual requirements, thus benefiting the users even more.

"Our new ISRA-PARSYTEC products primarily for the Metal and Paper sectors are being well accepted by the customers throughout the world. In this area, PARSYTEC has really advanced the company by joining together with ISRA. The combination of the two leading technologies from PARSYTEC and ISRA is providing the customers with definite advantages. We are pleased that the still young branch office in Turkey has now also had success in the Metal sector with these solutions", Enis Ersü, Chairman of the Board of ISRA VISION AG, comments on this most recent sales success. Since the acquisition of PARSYTEC last summer, ISRA has become the world market leader in the Metal sector.
