ISRA VISION AG, one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial image processing systems (Machine Vision), is making excellent progress with the integration of its most recent acquisition, Parsytec. It is now evident that the expected synergies will reach at least the volume which was budgeted on the occasion of the acquisition of the majority shareholding. At the end of July, ISRA acquired the majority of shares in its competitor Parsytec, headquartered in Aachen, Germany. The goal of the takeover is to sustainably expand the position in the market of the future, image processing, and to grow profitably. Parsytec is a world-wide leading supplier of top-quality products and services for surface inspection in the metals and paper segments. ISRA and Parsytec's ranges of products complement each other perfectly.

Even after the first few weeks of collaboration, the expectations of ISRA’s Executive Board for the acquisition have already been validated. By merging, both companies are able to release considerable synergies. There is especially large potential in the sectors of sales, engineering and production. By combining the systems of both companies in the future, production costs can be lowered in the long term and efficiency significantly increased. Up until now, managers from both companies have been driving the integration forward in a series of seven workshops. This has confirmed the initial impression of Enis Ersü, ISRA Chairman of the Executive Board: “The synergy potential with which we had planned when acquiring Parsytec has now been confirmed and has even exceeded our planning in some parts. It came true that the synergies to be expected in the ISRA group will justify the price which we are paying for the shares.”
