Am 7. und 8. Oktober treffen sich Anwender einer neuartigen Analysentechnik zur Bestimmung geringer Elementgehalte in flüssigen oder festen Proben im Technologiepark Adlershof (www.isocss.de). Die so genannte hochauflösende Kontinuumstrahler-Atomabsorptions-Spektrometrie, kurz HR-CS AAS, wurde federführend am Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) in Berlin entwickelt und wird seit drei Jahren erfolgreich von Firma Analytik Jena AG vertrieben.

Es gibt zahlreiche Anwendungen aus den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen der Umwelt-, Lebensmittel- und Wasseranalytik. Neben problemorientierter universitärer Forschung, wird die AAS hauptsächlich routinemäßig in Analysenlabors eingesetzt. Dabei stehen Qualitäts- und Prozesskontrolle sowie das Monitoring von Elementgehalten (z.B. Spuren- oder Schwermetalle im menschlichen Blut oder Urin) im Wjhlknbndsy.
