I.R.I.S. introduces document management system at law firm Schoenherr

Louvain-la-Neuve, (PresseBox) - The stock exchange listed company I.R.I.S., (EURONEXT Brussels: IRI), specialized in Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) , Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and complex infrastructure for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) , is pleased to announce that it was selected by Central European law firm Schoenherr for the implementation of Autonomy iManage WorkSite. The introduction of the document management system at Schoenherr enables employees at all twelve locations across Europe to collaborate more efficiently.

Schoenherr had a clear vision as to why it should purchase a WorkSite document management system. "We wanted to improve communication between all of our locations", comments Markus Gruber, Head of Business Intelligence at Schoenherr. "In order to work efficiently, all of our employees need to have easy access to all the office documents that they need to work with." Gruber visited various other law firms across Europe and made a deep and detailed market research to gain more insight into the document management systems available on the market. "Afterwards, we made a shortlist of three possible solutions. Technically, all of those three systems work on a similar level; the difference between them is visible on the outside. The usability for end users has been the deciding factor for us. It is very simple to integrate WorkSite with other frequently used software applications, such as Outlook. Above all, I.R.I.S. is a trustworthy implementation partner. It is clear they can deliver on the implementation process."

Gruber is positive about the successful introduction of WorkSite within his organization. "It will change our workflow radically. Emails and office documents will be stored, secured and retrieved much more efficiently across our twelve separate locations. For this moment, we will be focusing on the introduction of the document management system. But I am looking forward to building a longer relationship with I.R.I.S. and implementing other products in the future."

Dries Ausems, Business Development Manager at I.R.I.S. ECM:

"Amongst law firms Schoenherr belongs to the Continental elite. I am pleased and proud to be able to add the firm to our list of customers. The open standards-based technology of WorkSite allows building a flexible and modular solution. As a result, Schoenherr can decide to add other elements whenever they are ready for it. I'm looking forward to work together with the team at Schoenherr in the years to come. "
