Erneuerbare schlagen Atomkraftwerke - das Märchen von der Stromknappheit

Der Anteil der erneuerbaren Energien an der Stromerzeugung steigt in Deutschland weiter an. In den ersten beiden Monaten des Jahres 2012 haben Wind- und Solaranlagen bereits 13,2 Milliarden Kilowattstunden Strom (Jan. - Feb. 2011: 9,3 Mrd. kWh) produziert. Das sind 42 Prozent mehr als vor einem Jahr, teilte das Internationale Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien (IWR) in Münster als Ergebnis einer Auswertung von Daten der Strombörse EEX in Leipzig mit.

"Wind- und Solaranlagen haben damit mehr Strom produziert, als alle acht abgeschalteten Atomkraftwerke in Deutschland theoretisch in diesem Zeitraum hätten erzeugen können", sagte IWR-Direktor Dr. Norbert Allnoch.
