Nur einen Monat nach der Produktankündigung hat Innovasic die neue Version ihres RapID Platform Network Interfaces für PROFINET IRT und RT entsprechend PROFINET Class B und C zertifiziert. Es ist möglich, heute mit der RapID Platform PROFINET in bestehende Systeme zu integrieren und das Design dann nahtlos zu PROFINET v2.3 überzuführen. Die Lösung von Innovasic erlaubt Nutzern ihr Produkt nach v2.3 zu zertifizieren, sobald das High Performance-Profil in PI Test Labs verfügbar ist.

Das PROFINET IRT Network Interface steht als Modul oder Embedded Design zur Verfügung und umfasst alle notwendigen Funktionen zur Teilnahme an einem PROFINET IRT- und RT-Netzwerk.
