Unter der Bezeichnung Femtocell Stratum III präsentiert MMD Monitor/Quartztek (Vertrieb Infratron) eine neue Familie von TCXOs mit sehr hoher Genauigkeit und Stabilität sowie geringem Phasenrauschen. Mögliche Anwendungen liegen im Bereich der Satelliten-Navigation und der Netzwerk-Synchronisation.

Die beiden neuen Baureihen MTWS und MTWC sind in verschiedenen Ausführungen wie CMOS oder Clipped-Sinewave, für 3,3V oder 5V Betriebsspannung, sowie für kommerziellen und industriellen Temperaturbereich verfügbar.

Der Standardfrequenzbereich erstreckt sich von 16,384MHz bis 40,000MHz, wobei kundenspezifisch auch außerhalb liegende Frequenzen möglich sind. Die Frequenzstabilität kann +/-10ppm oder +/-28ppm betragen. Die max. Holdover-Stabilität beträgt <40ppb in 24Std. Als Gehäuse wird der Industrie-Standard 5x7mm verwendet.
