Ein leistungsstarker Schienengüterverkehr ist nicht nur in Ballungsräumen, sondern auch in der Fläche ein wichtiger Standortvorteil für die Wirtschaft. Vor dem Hintergrund der zunehmenden Internationalisierung von Produk-tionsprozessen, einem rasanten Wachstum des Transportaufkommens und steigender Anforderungen an die Umweltverträglichkeit der Verkehrs-träger steht gerade der grenzüberschreitende Schienengüterverkehr vor großen Herausforderungen, die es zu bewältigen gilt. Im Rahmen einer Fachveranstaltung unter dem Motto "Schienengüterver-kehr - Perspektiven für die Wirtschaft in Thüringen, Deutschland und Eu-ropa" informiert die Deutsche Bahn AG in Kooperation mit der Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK) Erfurt über Trends und Initiativen für den Gü-terverkehr: Donnerstag, 6.
