Michael Lütjann (47), Chief Information Officer (CIO) and a Member of the Management Board at Imperial Logistics International, which has its headquarters in Duisburg, took over the senior position of CIO for the entire logistics division of Imperial Holdings Limited, South Africa with effect from 1 April 2017. At the same time, Lütjann became a Member of the Board of Directors of the entire logistics division of Imperial.
Before joining Imperial, Lütjann was Senior Vice President IT Management Logistics at Schenker and CIO at the logistics specialist Fiege. His tasks include developing the digital infrastructure within the logistics division and continuing to upgrade processes, working forms and business models with a view to structuring them digitally.
